Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking an Oracle EBS Developer with 2+ years of experience to interface with clients, understand requirements, and contribute to solution design in a technology services context.

You will participate in estimations, perform code reviews, and guide teams toward high-quality deliverables while adhering to SDLC and Agile practices, QA standards, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Oracle EBS development and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Oracle EBS technologies (Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL Loader, Oracle Applications APIs).
• Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL queries; Unix shell scripts.
• Experience with Oracle database upgrades (9i to 11g) and data mappings.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and QA principles.
• Knowledge of testing tools and project life-cycle activities in development projects.
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends in software development.

• Interface with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Understand requirements, create and review designs, validate architecture, and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain.
• Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews.
• Lead and guide teams toward developing optimized, high‑quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management, and adherence to organizational guidelines and processes.
• Contribute to building efficient programs/systems and help clients navigate their digital transformation journey.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Oracle EBS development and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Oracle EBS technologies (Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL Loader, Oracle Applications APIs), database concepts, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripts, Oracle database upgrade from 9i to 11g, data mapping, conversions, interfaces, validation, and Oracle R12 data models and SQL queries (preferably using TOAD).
• Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies, software development principles, performance engineering, and quality processes.
• Knowledge of testing tools, experience with agile methodologies, and understanding of project life‑cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Strong technical skills, analytical abilities, good communication, and a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and modeling methods.
• Basic familiarity with architecture and design fundamentals and awareness of latest technologies and trends.
