Job summary

Johnson Controls in Bengaluru is seeking an Oracle EBS R-12 Technical developer to join our team. You will deliver technical expertise to ensure seamless order-to-cash processes, system stability, and business alignment, combining functional knowledge with hands-on development of RICEW/CEMLI components.

You will design, customize, test, and support EBS extensions, build interfaces to third-party apps, and develop reports with BI Publisher and SQL.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) development experience.
• Strong PL/SQL, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Workflow, Oracle Alerts, and Oracle Concurrent Program.
• Experience developing and supporting interfaces using APIs, Open Interface Tables, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) customization and extensions.
• Experience with Oracle Application Object Library (AOL).
• Familiarity with Oracle Application DBA concepts, including patching and deployments.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Support, enhance, and maintain Oracle EBS applications.

Role Overview

The consultant will provide technical expertise in Oracle EBS R-12 ensuring seamless order-to-cash processes, system stability, and business alignment. The role requires strong functional knowledge of OM modules combined with hands-on technical skills to design, customize, and support RICEW/CEMLI components.

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate should have experience in supporting, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications
• Must have strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS development, customization, integrations, and reporting
• Must have the ability to work closely with functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

Education
