Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Oracle EBS R-12 Technical Developer with 7+ years of experience to ensure robust order-to-cash processes, system stability, and alignment with business needs. You will design, customize, and support RICEW/CEMLI components and collaborate with functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include developing interfaces, BI reports, PL/SQL packages, and performing upgrades and deployments in a Unix/Linux environment, with emphasis on performance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) development experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Workflow, Oracle Alerts, and Oracle Concurrent Program.
• Experience developing and supporting interfaces using APIs, Open Interface Tables, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) customization and extensions.
• Experience with Oracle Application Object Library (AOL).
• Familiarity with Oracle Application DBA concepts, including patching and deployments.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.

Role Overview

The consultant will provide technical expertise in Oracle EBS R-12 ensuring seamless order-to-cash processes, system stability, and business alignment. The role requires strong functional knowledge of OM modules combined with hands-on technical skills to design, customize, and support RICEW/CEMLI components.

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate should have experience in supporting, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications
• Must have strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS development, customization, integrations, and reporting
• Must have the ability to work closely with functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle EBS customizations and extensions
• Develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party applications
• Create and maintain reports using BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and SQL
• Develop custom PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Support data conversion and migration activities

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) development experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
