Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor Oracle Database environments for high availability.
• Perform daily health checks and monitoring activities.
• Monitor Oracle RAC clusters and report issues.
• Handle L1 support: alerts, tickets and incidents.
• Monitor backups and verify successful completion.
• Escalate critical issues to L2/L3 support.
• Coordinate during incidents with cross‑functional teams.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Oracle DBA (L1 Support) with experience in Oracle Database Administration and Oracle RAC monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for database monitoring, incident management, health checks, and ensuring the availability and stability of Oracle database environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Oracle Database environments and ensure high availability.
• Perform daily database health checks and routine monitoring activities.
• Monitor Oracle RAC clusters and proactively identify/report issues.
• Handle L1 support activities including alert monitoring, ticket handling, and incident resolution.
• Monitor database backups and verify successful completion.
• Escalate critical or complex issues to L2/L3 support teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting database performance and connectivity issues.
• Maintain operational documentation and support logs.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and support teams during incidents.
