Job summary

The Developer role focuses on building, customizing, and supporting Oracle CX and other applications, emphasizing coding, testing, and deployment per design specs. Will ensure smooth integrations, timely bug fixes, and day-to-day technical support for business applications under guidance from Functional resources.

Key responsibilities include implementing Oracle CX modules, developing custom pages, integrations via OIC, and creating reports with BI Publisher and OTBI, while supporting incidents

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Oracle CX Sales, Service and Field Service modules.
• Strong Groovy scripting and page configuration skills.
• Experience in development of inbound and outbound integrations using OIC.

Responsibilities

• Implement Oracle CX modules such as Sales, Services and Field Service.
• Develop Groovy scripts and page configurations in Oracle CX.
• Build integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for inbound/outbound data.
• Develop Oracle CX custom objects and extensions using Application Composer.
• Create and optimize workflows, Groovy scripts, and field updates to meet business needs.
• Build reports and dashboards using BI Publisher and OTBI.
• Support integration development using SOAP/REST APIs, IC components, and VBCS.
• Perform unit testing, assist with system testing and UAT, and fix bugs.
• Deploy changes across environments following IT governance.
• Provide technical support for incidents and Jira tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Oracle CX applications.

Job Summary:

The Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and supporting Oracle CX and other applications the role focuses on coding, testing, and deploying solutions as per design specifications. The Developer ensures smooth integrations, timely bug fixes, and provides day-to day technical support for business applications under guidance from Functional resources Our exact requirements which we expect for this role are pointed as below.

Role & responsibilities

Should have implementation experience of Oracle CX modules, Sales, Services and Field services.

• Oracle CX Saas (groovy scripting) and page configurations


• Development of custom pages using VBCS.


• Should have experience in development of Inbound and outbound integrations using OIC.


• Develop Oracle CX custom objects and extensions using Application Composer


• Write Groovy scripts, workflows, and field updates to meet business needs


• Build reports and dashboards using BI Publisher and OTBI


• Support integration development using SOAP/REST APIs, IC components, and VBCS


• Conduct unit testing of developed code, prepare test documentation, Support system testing, UAT, and bug fixing


• Deploy approved changes between environments following IT governance


• Provide technical support for incidents and Jira tasks.


• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in Oracle CX applications


• Escalate complex issues to senior developers or vendors

Work closely with functional consultants to clarify requirements and collaborate with senior developers for code reviews and best practice adoption

• Support business teams during UAT and go-live
