Qualifications

• Strong experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite R12.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Hands‑on with Oracle Reports and BI Publisher (XML, RTF templates).
• Experience designing interfaces/APIs and working with concurrent programs.
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and performance tuning.

What You'll Do

The Oracle Apps Technical Consultant is responsible for the technical design, development, customization, and support of Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) applications. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and business users to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with Oracle standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 components.
• Develop and modify Rice Components
• Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and customize Forms, OAF (Oracle Application Framework) pages, and ADF components (as applicable).
• Work with Workflow Builder to customize and troubleshoot workflows.

Integration & Data Handling

• Design and develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and third‑party/external systems.
• Perform data migration and conversion using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle standard tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies and reconciliation issues.

Support & Maintenance

• Provide production support, including issue analysis, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
• Analyze and resolve concurrent program failures, performance issues, and database‑related errors.
• Monitor and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL programs for optimal performance.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Strong experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite R12
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Oracle Reports
  • BI Publisher (XML, RTF templates)
  • Interfaces and APIs
  • Concurrent Programs
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Knowledge of Oracle database objects and performance tuning
