• Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and objects.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Oracle Apps R12 Technical Expert

Position Overview

We are seeking an experiencedOracle Apps R12 Technical Expertto join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting advanced technical solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The ideal candidate will have strong PL/SQL expertise and proven experience in developing customer-facing documents, building integrations, and delivering custom technical solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle R12 technical solutions and customizations tailored to business requirements
• Develop and maintain customer-facing documents such as invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, and reports using XML Publisher and Oracle Reports
• Build, test, and support integrations, interfaces, conversions, and APIs to enable seamless data flow across systems
• Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical support during testing phases, system deployments, and post-go-live issue resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments
• Document technical solutions, code, and processes for knowledge transfer and future maintenance
• Stay updated with Oracle EBS best practices and emerging technologies

Required Skills and Experience

• Oracle Apps R12 Expertise:Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite technical architecture, modules, and customization framework
• PL/SQL Development:Advanced proficiency in writing efficient PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• XML Publisher:Hands-on experience designing and developing custom reports and documents using XML Publisher
• Oracle Reports:Experience with Oracle Reports development and customization
• Integrations and APIs:Proven experience building and supporting integrations, interfaces, and API development
• Workflow:Knowledge of Oracle Workflow setup, customization, and troubleshooting
• Database Management:Solid understanding of database objects, SQL optimization, and performance tuning
• Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent analytical mindset
• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Testing and Deployment:Experience with testing methodologies, deployment processes, and production support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Discoverer
• Knowledge of Oracle Application Server (OAS) and Java integration
• Familiarity with version control systems and development tools
• Experience with other ERP modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, or Human Resources
• Certifications in Oracle Database or Oracle Apps R12
• Experience in Agile or iterative development methodologies

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum5+ yearsof hands-on experience with Oracle Apps R12 technical development
• Minimum5+ yearsof professional PL/SQL development experience
