Role description: Provides production support to maintain environment stability, coordinate code migrations, and resolve first‑line incidents for the GSI Solutions team to meet business demand for the GEA portfolio.

Collaboration
- Proactively engages with Key Business Users to receive feedback, gauge satisfaction with system, integrations, and address issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with GSI Automation & Integrations Teams and project teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of middleware systems.
- Collaborate with GSI Teams to deliver efficient and well‑run processes.
Application & Extension Services
- Monitor Oracle and the various Application & Extension services across production services to detect and escalated incidents according to SLAs.
- Triage and resolve L1 incidents and service requests; escalated to L2/L3 with clear diagnostics and replication steps.
- Coordinate and execute approved code migrations/deployments in non‑production and production environments via appropriate Helix ticket types.
- Validate deployments and run post‑deployment smoke tests to confirm service stability.
- Proactively monitor performance, resource utilization and promptly respond to alerts to ensure availability and performance meets business demands.
- Coordinate with release manager the schedule of maintenance & release activities across environments, teams, and vendors, identifying and resolving conflicts to minimize risk of disruption.
- Track incident trends and provide input to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Optimization
- Identify opportunities where better fixes, more secure approaches, standardizations, automations, or upgrades should be considered and report them in regular status updates to GSI Solutions Director.
Key shared accountabilities
- Partnership with other Towers, Lanes, and teams to achieve goals and exceed business expectations.
- Oracle SOP and KBA development with GSI team.
- Oracle service disruptions announcements and EU communications with GSI team.
- Release Management with GEA teams and Tech CAB.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting Oracle Applications and Extension layers, at least 1 of which with Oracle Cloud application services.
- Demonstrated experience successfully planning and implementing Cloud application services in a global company with a multi‑national, multi‑vendor environment.
- Proven track record of achieving service excellence, including maintaining positive stakeholder relationships and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams with internal and external resources.
- Skills
- Primary: Oracle APEX, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle SQL/PLSQL Database, ORDS
- Secondary: Helix system, Arcadis’ policies for SLAs, Problem escalation, Deployment processes.
