Job summary

Lonza in India, Haryana (Rewari) seeks an Operator - Preparation to efficiently prepare Gel Feed Tanks in the Gel Melting Room, following GMP, GDP, and safety standards. You will operate SCADA, transfer materials, prepare GFTs, and maintain meticulous documentation.

The role offers hands-on exposure to automated systems and requires ITI or Diploma in Pharmacy, Science, or Engineering (preferred: Chemical).

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar environment.
• Basic knowledge of SCADA systems and pharmaceutical processes.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with strict quality and safety standards.
• Education: ITI or Diploma in Pharmacy, Science, or Engineering (Preferred: Chemical).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gelatin melt tanks via SCADA to prepare batches as per specifications.
• Transfer approved gelatin bags and feed ingredients according to SOP and master formula.
• Prepare GFTs using weighing booths and dry dye weighing systems.
• Operate Viscosity Adjustment System (VAS) to meet viscosity set points.
• Perform capsule trim grinding and ensure proper documentation.
• Clean GFTs and dishes using automated and manual processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation as per GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during shift.
