Job summary

Lonza is seeking an Operator - Preparation in Rewari to efficiently prepare Gel Feed Tanks (GFT) in the Gel Melting Room, following GMP and GDP guidelines. You will operate SCADA-controlled tanks, weigh ingredients, and document every step to ensure quality and safety in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The role offers hands-on exposure to automated systems, SOP adherence, and daily collaboration with quality and operations teams within Lonza’s global biopharma network.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Pharmacy, Science, or Engineering (Preferred: Chemical).
• Entry level experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gelatin melt tanks via SCADA to prepare batches as per specifications.
• Transfer approved gelatin bags and feed ingredients according to SOP and master formula.
• Prepare GFTs using weighing booths and dry dye weighing systems.
• Operate Viscosity Adjustment System (VAS) to meet viscosity set points.
• Perform capsule trim grinding and ensure proper documentation.
• Clean GFTs and dishes using automated and manual processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation as per GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during shift.
