Job summary

Airtel is seeking a Team Leader Operations (Asset Lifecycle) to drive device recovery performance across the assigned geography by leading field executives, enforcing process discipline and maximizing recovery efficiency while minimizing losses.

You will own recovery KPIs, guide field teams, conduct audits, and coordinate with center and circle operations, ensuring compliance and data-driven decision making to improve outcomes. Based in India, Bareilly region.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline with 4–7 years in last mile operations / collections / recovery / reverse logistics.
• Prior telecom or device handling experience preferred.
• Strong field operations and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Recovery Operations Management: Own recovery KPIs for assigned circles; drive daily execution plans; identify bottlenecks and plug leakage points.
• Field Force Leadership: Manage and coach a team of field executives/agencies; set targets; conduct on-ground audits.
• Performance & KPI Governance: Track recovery metrics; drive data-backed interventions to improve areas.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with center and circle operations and customer experience teams; ensure alignment with compliance.
• Process Compliance & Risk Control: Adhere to recovery SOPs; prevent fraud; maintain records.
• Data & Reporting: Publish daily/weekly MIS; analyze trends; use dashboards for decisions.

Role Purpose

Drive device recovery performance across the assigned geography within the Bharti Airtel ecosystem by leading field executives, enforcing process discipline and maximizing recovery efficiency while minimizing losses and leakages.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recovery Operations Management
   • Own device recovery KPIs for the assigned circle/s (volumes, value recovery, turnaround time).
   • Drive daily execution plans with field executives to ensure target achievement.
   • Identify bottlenecks and plug leakage points in the recovery lifecycle.
2. Field Force Leadership
   • Manage and coach a team of field executives / agencies.
   • Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly targets and review rigorously.
   • Conduct on-ground audits and joint field visits to ensure quality execution.
   • Build accountability through performance tracking and corrective actions.
3. Performance & KPI Governance
   • Track and improve key metrics such as: Recovery rate (%) Aging buckets reduction, productivity.
   • Drive data-backed interventions to improve underperforming areas.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
   • Work closely with center and circle operations and customer experience teams.
   • Ensure alignment with legal/compliance teams for sensitive cases.
5. Process Compliance & Risk Control
   • Ensure adherence to recovery SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
   • Prevent fraud, misuse, or asset misappropriation.
   • Maintain accurate documentation and closure records.
6. Data & Reporting:
   • Publish daily/weekly MIS on recovery performance.
   • Analyze trends and highlight actionable insights.
   • Use dashboards/tools to drive real-time decision-making.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Education Graduate in any discipline
2. Experience 47 years in last mile operations / collections / recovery / reverse logistics
3. Prior experience in telecom or device handling is preferred
