Job summary

Pearce Services Global in Mohali, Punjab invites a diligent Operations Support Assistant for Telecom Operations (Fresher up to 3 years). You will evaluate work orders, track milestones, and act as a hub between management, project leads, and backend teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

• Engineering/technical background preferred; exposure to OSP telecom, GIS, CAD, or engineering documentation is an advantage.
• Prior experience in telecom operations, revenue recognition, billing, engineering operations, or project coordination preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and attention-to-detail skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate Work Orders: Review and assess complete work orders for telecom engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones and client agreements.
2. Monitor Milestones: Track progress through various project milestones to determine the percentage of revenue recognized at each stage, adhering to predefined criteria.
3. Communication & collaboration: Serve as a communication hub between management, project leads, and backend teams, gathering updates and insights necessary for revenue recognition. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project management and Admin departments, to facilitate smooth revenue recognition processes and resolve any issues promptly.
4. Review Updates: Scrutinize updates from management and project leads to identify any adjustments required for revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with client terms and conditions. Utilize quantitative analysis to determine the appropriate quantity of work units to bill for each project, considering project specifics and client requirements.
5. Understanding Work Units: Possess comprehensive knowledge of the organization's work unit entity, including rates agreed upon with clients. Understand when and how to apply these work units to accurately bill for project activities.
6. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of revenue recognition processes, milestone achievements, and any adjustments made, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
7. Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements in revenue recognition practices, mitigating potential risks or discrepancies. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements in revenue recognition procedures, contributing to overall organizational effectiveness.
