• Significant experience in automotive or heavy fabrication manufacturing, with sheet metal or tubular assemblies and surface treatment.
• Familiarity with ISO TS16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards and experience in certified systems.
• Experience with automation, robotics, or SPMs in manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.

Role Description

The Operations/Manufacturing Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing and operations for sheet metal and tubular assemblies. This role oversees production planning, shop-floor execution, quality adherence, and on-time delivery to meet customer and certification requirements. The role includes driving continuous improvement, automation initiatives, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. The Operations/Manufacturing Head coordinates cross-functional teams, manages resources and budgets, and establishes performance metrics for productivity and efficiency. This position also involves mentoring engineering and production teams, collaborating with R&D and tool room functions, and maintaining strong communication with senior leadership and key customers.

Qualifications

• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements.
• Proven Team Management capabilities to lead diverse manufacturing, engineering, and support teams and build a culture of accountability.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, and for clear reporting to leadership.
• Budgeting and cost-control skills to manage operating expenses, capital investments, and drive efficiency and profitability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Significant experience in automotive or heavy fabrication manufacturing, preferably in sheet metal or tubular assemblies and surface treatment.
• Familiarity with ISO TS16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards and experience in implementing or maintaining certified systems.
