Job summary

Dr. Lime in India is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to run our crushing and sizing unit.

You will own day-to-day plant operations, production planning and process control, ensuring product sizes meet defined specifications across every batch dispatched. Based at Berathal Kalan, Nagaur, Rajasthan, you will lead shift teams, coordinate with quality, maintenance and dispatch, monitor throughput and downtime, manage costs, and uphold safety standards under ISO 45001.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of plant operations experience.
• Hands-on limestone crushing and sizing operations.
• Experience planning production and control.
• Experience managing shift teams.
• Familiar with crushers, screens, conveyors and material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations of the crushing and sizing plant, including shift planning and manpower deployment.
• Planning production against dispatch requirements and maintaining output targets.
• Controlling process parameters to hold products within defined particle size specifications.
• Overseeing operation and performance of crushers, screens, conveyors and material handling systems.
• Monitoring plant efficiency, throughput, downtime and yield, and acting on deviations.
• Coordinating with quality, maintenance, mining and dispatch teams to keep production flowing.
• Planning preventive maintenance schedules with the maintenance team and minimising unplanned stoppages.
• Managing operating cost, power consumption and consumable usage against budget.
• Enforcing safety standards across all plant activity, in line with our ISO 45001 systems.
• Leading, training and developing the shift and operations team.
• Maintaining production records, process documentation and reporting.

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to run our crushing and sizing unit.

Our products are defined by particle size distribution, not tonnage alone. That makes this unit central to what we sell. You will own day to day plant operations, production planning, process control and output quality, working to defined size specifications across every batch we dispatch.

What we are looking for

• B.Tech, B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 8 years of plant operations experience
• Hands‑on experience in limestone crushing and sizing operations
• Strong working knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and material handling systems
• Proven ability in production planning and process control
• Experience managing shift teams and coordinating across plant functions
• A clear focus on production, quality, cost and plant efficiency

Preferred

• Experience in minerals processing, lime or cement
• Exposure to particle size control and classification systems
• Familiarity with plant automation or PLC based control systems
• Comfort working at a plant location in Nagaur district, Rajasthan
