Job summary

The role requires 12+ years in Facilities Management, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. You will mentor teams and coordinate with finance to ensure timely collections and closed action items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 12+ years of experience in Facilities Management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; hands-on experience in P&L, contract management, and collections.

• Manage existing operational contracts and drive retention, growth, and portfolio expansion in the territory.
• Deliver profitable operations by achieving targets, controlling costs and improving GOP.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and Sodexo policies while driving operational excellence.
• Support business development through solution costing, tender involvement and proposals for new IFM opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong multi-level client relationships and align with strategic objectives.
• Provide accurate financial and operational reports to the Regional Head and ensure timely collections.

Position: Operations Manager - Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)
Location: Chennai

Sodexo is looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead and grow our Integrated Facilities Management business. If you have strong operational expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for client relationship management, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage existing operational contracts while ensuring contract retention, growth, and portfolio expansion within the assigned territory.
• Deliver profitable operations by achieving business targets, controlling costs, and improving Gross Operating Profit (GOP).
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Sodexo policies while driving operational excellence.
• Support business development through solution costing, tender participation, and proposal preparation for new IFM opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong multi-level client relationships and understand the client's strategic objectives.
• Ensure customer expectations are consistently met and provide accurate financial and operational reports to the Regional Head.
• Drive timely collections by coordinating with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and the Finance team.
• Mentor and support Business Development and Operations teams to achieve business goals.
• Ensure adherence to Sodexo service standards and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct Monthly Operations Meetings (MOM) with clients and ensure timely closure of action items.
• Review and monitor:
• QHSE scores and corrective action plans
• Golden Rule Tracker
• Invoice management
• Customer Satisfaction Measurement (CSM)
• Business Performance Review (BPR)
• Resource Planning Tool

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Facilities Management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience in Facility Operations, P&L Management, Contract Management, and Collections.
