Role: Head Operations & Strategy

Job Description:

• The Operations Head/Industrial Head is responsible for driving overall efficiency, productivity, and profitability across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Project Management, and PPC.
• This role ensures seamless operations, cost optimization, quality adherence, and strategic growth by aligning business goals with manufacturing excellence.
• Develop and implement production strategies to achieve efficiency, quality, and cost targets.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machinery, materials).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Optimize plant machinery and equipment availability.
• Lead process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure project execution within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.
• Engage with vendors, contractors, customers, and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Work closely with the Engineering Team to achieve functional and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to ensure design accuracy and quality.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Must be from an MNC.
• Must have good exposure in Industrial Engineering & Project Management.
