Responsibilities

• Oversee OPD and IPD operations, patient services, admissions, billing, and admin coordination.
• Monitor patient flow, discharge procedures, bed occupancy, and housekeeping coordination.
• Supervise billing, cash handling, insurance processing, and TPA coordination.
• Lead duty rosters and workforce management, coordinating with HR for leaves and staffing.
• Ensure NABH compliance, infection control, safety protocols, and audit support.
• Prepare daily MIS reports on occupancy, revenue, patient flow, and complaints.
• Act as liaison between medical, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and administration teams.

To ensure seamless hospital operations by overseeing OPD, IPD, patient services, admissions, billing, and administrative coordination while maintaining high standards of patient care, efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Experience
  • Promote patient-centric culture with empathy and responsiveness.
  • Address patient grievances and ensuretimelyresolution.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction scores and implement improvement initiatives.
• OPD & IPD Operations Management
  • Overseasesmoothfunctioning of OPD and IPD services.
  • Monitor patient flow to reduce waiting time and improve service efficiency.
  • Coordinate with consultants, nursing, and support teams for seamless care delivery.
• Supervise admission process ensuringtimelyroom allocation and documentation.
• Ensure smooth and error-free discharge procedures.
• Track bed occupancy rates andoptimizeallocation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and nursing for quick bed turnover.
• Supervise billing operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor cash handling, insurance processing, and TPA coordination.
• Ensure professional front office conduct and service standards.
• Duty Roster & Workforce Management
  • Prepare and manage duty rosters for operational staff.
  • Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
  • Coordinate with HR for leave planning andmanpowerallocation.
• Act asliaisonbetween medical, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and administration teams.
• Ensure smooth communication and operational alignment.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to NABH and hospital policies,bymaintainingcompliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and documentationrequirements.
  • Proactivelyidentifyrisks and implement preventive and corrective measures.
  • Support internal and external audits.
• Reporting & Performance Monitoring
  • Prepare daily MIS reports on occupancy, revenue, patient flow, and complaints.
  • Track KPIs and recommend operational improvements.
• Emergency & Crisis Handling
  • Manage operational challenges during emergencies.
  • Ensure smooth coordination during high patient influx situations.

Qualification

• MBA or MHA degree
• Experience managing and leading teams effectively
• 5 - 10 years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare management.
• Healthcare, Airline or Hospitality industry background preferred
