Contango Services Private Limited is seeking a proactive IT support specialist for the Data domain. You will provide first-line support, monitor systems, and drive corrective actions to maintain system health.

You will communicate with users during incidents, coordinate with development teams for escalations, and keep comprehensive documentation of support processes. Opportunities exist to grow into development/maintenance roles as you gain experience.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years in a similar IT support capacity.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Ivanti.
• Experience writing documentation in Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of technology with potential to move into development/maintenance later.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide first line support for several systems in the Data domain
2. Monitoring systems via various tools/dashboards, take corrective actions in case of issues
3. Ensure systems are in a healthy status and suggest pre-emptive maintenance
4. Handle user communications during and after incidents
5. Liaise with development teams for escalations and hand-overs
6. Maintain an up-to-date documentation of support processes
7. Help to prepare operational stats to identify problematic areas or systems

Required Experience:

1. 3-5 years experienced professional who has worked in a similar support capacity.
2. Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow/Ivanti
3. Experience of writing documentation in a system such as Confluence
4. Should have excellent written/verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Should have basic understanding of technology to be able to add value in maintenance/development in medium term. Opportunity for a technical mind to slowly transition to a more development/maintenance role.
6. Working hours will be normal India/UK timings, with on call support requirement on rotation basis withing the team.
