This role plays a key part in supporting our European road freight and logistics operations, working closely with UK-based operations and control tower teams to ensure the accurate creation, validation, and management of shipment documentation and customs processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further develop their expertise in international logistics, customs compliance, and supply chain operations. Working as part of a shift pattern aligned to UK operating hours, you will contribute to operational excellence, compliance monitoring, and the smooth execution of freight movements across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer instructions, create shipment files, and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Ensure jobs are completed within agreed timelines and maintain effective communication with UK business teams.
  • Support customs clearance activities and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Identify compliance issues, documentation gaps, and operational risks, escalating and coordinating corrective actions where required.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational and compliance-related matters.
  • Prepare reports, analyse performance data, and identify trends to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to optimise logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to reducing operational non-conformances.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support, including ad hoc tasks as required.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Logistics, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • 4-5 years' experience within logistics operations, ideally with exposure to customs clearance, road freight, and domestic shipping.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Experience using supply chain visibility tools and Excel-based tracking systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage and track data accurately.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Ability to work within a shift-based structure aligned to UK operating hours.
  • A proactive, organised approach with a commitment to compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
