Job summary

Z Ventures is seeking an experienced Operations Head IT to lead our IT infrastructure, service delivery, and the operations team. The role focuses on ensuring high system availability, security, and alignment with business objectives.

The candidate will oversee on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), manage budgets and vendors, and drive incident response and continuous improvement.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Head IT to lead and manage our IT infrastructure, service delivery, and operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure high system availability, security, and efficiency while aligning IT operations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, and systems
• Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and reliability of IT services

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Manage on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Plan capacity, scalability, and system upgrades

Service Delivery & SLA Management

• Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests

Security & Compliance

• Implement IT security policies and best practices
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ISO, GDPR, etc.)

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage IT operations teams
• Conduct performance reviews and skill development initiatives

Incident & Problem Management

• Lead response to major incidents and outages
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures

Budget & Vendor Management

• Manage IT budgets, cost optimization, and procurement
• Handle vendor relationships and contracts

Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience

• 10–15+ years in IT operations
• 5+ years in leadership/management roles
