Job summary

AGS Health in Chennai invites applications for an AR calling role based at our Chennai office. The position focuses on following up with US insurance carriers to resolve outstanding AR and maximize cash flow.

You will interact by phone and use internet portals to obtain claim statuses, ensure quality and timely resolution, and document outcomes in the billing system. 2-way cab is provided, with incentives and health insurance as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation mandatory.
• 1–2 years of provider AR calling experience in Physician billing or Hospital Billing.

Responsibilities

• Address outstanding AR through phone calls and analysis using available resources.
• Report trends/patterns in denials, claim submission errors, credentialing issues and billing roadblocks to the reporting manager.
• Meet the established SLAs for production and quality.
• Update the outcome of calls or analyses in the billing system.
• Stay updated with changes done with the P&Ps.
• Improve performance based on feedback from the manager/quality audit team.

Job Summary:

This position is based out of Chennai office, responsible for the following:

• Ensure quality driven follow-up activities and resolution of accounts is carried out with the insurance carriers on the outstanding inventory to yield maximum cash flow and minimum bad debts.
• Interact by phone and check Internet based portals of the insurance companies in US to procure status of the claim followed by appropriate activities to address open AR.

Key Responsibilities:

• To address outstanding or assigned AR through phone call and analysis using available resources.
• To report trends / patterns in denials, claim submission errors, credentialing issues and billing related roadblocks to the immediate reporting manager.
• To meet the established SLAs (service level agreements) for production and quality.
• To update the outcome of the calls or analysis in a clear and coherent manner in the billing system.
• To utilize the and stay updated with changes done with the P & Ps
• To improve the performance based on the feedback provided by the reporting manager / quality audit team.

Qualifications:

• Graduation mandatory

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year to 2 years of provider side AR calling experience in Physician billing or Hospital Billing.
