Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant with a strong focus on India Payroll to support and enhance SAP HCM India Payroll, time management, and time evaluation modules.

You will lead configurations, ensure compliance with Indian payroll regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on data migration and project enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP HCM Consultant with a strong focus on India Payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of India-specific payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining SAP HCM modules related to India Payroll, time management, and time evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain India Payroll processes, including salary structures, deductions, allowances, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Indian payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Implement and maintain India-specific payroll features and enhancements.
• Ability to read and write Payroll PCR and schemas.
• Configure and maintain time management and time evaluation processes to accurately track employee time and attendance.
• Implement rules for absence types, overtime calculations, and shift scheduling.
• Integrate time management data with payroll processes.
• Troubleshoot PT60/Time evaluation program.
• Ability to read and write Time PCR and schemas.
• Lead data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP HCM, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop data migration strategies and scripts.
• Participate in SAP HCM enhancement projects, providing expertise in India Payroll, time management, and time evaluation.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP HCM India Payroll, time management, and time evaluation systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents.
• Perform system upgrades and patches.
