Job summary

Edelweiss Financial Services is seeking a QA Engineer to support testing activities across digital applications and lending platforms in Mumbai. You will create test cases, execute tests, log defects and ensure quality delivery of releases, working closely with developers and business users.

The role involves functional and regression testing, UAT support, and maintaining comprehensive testing documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of STLC lifecycle.
• Experience in functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Execute tests and log defects.
• Retest defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
• Support UAT and ensure quality delivery of releases.
• Maintain testing documentation and traceability.
• Coordinate with developers, business users, and project teams for issue resolution.
• Contribute to daily status reporting and test progress updates.
