Job summary

Easy Home Finance Limited is seeking a QA Engineer to design, implement, and execute test strategies for our housing finance system. The role involves testing lending applications (LoS & LMS), with a focus on defect-free delivery and ongoing quality enhancements.

You will develop comprehensive test plans, create test cases, and write automated scripts using Selenium, Appium, and JUnit. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA within lending and strong analytical, communication, and time-management

Job description

The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality of our housing finance system. The ideal candidate will have experience in Testing Lending Application – LoS & LMS, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to delivering defect-free systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy and Planning
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for various system modules, including loan processing, user management, payment gateways, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements.
• Test Case Development
• Create and maintain a repository of test cases and scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Write test scripts for automated testing using relevant tools.
• Test Execution
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure system functionality aligns with requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the system.
• Automation
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Automate repetitive test cases to streamline the QA process.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare detailed test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders.

Use advanced MS Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting) for effective defect analysis and test case tracking.

Analyze defects and provide suggestions for improvements in the development process.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
• Experience with database testing (MySQL, MongoDB preferred).
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Expertise in Advanced MS Excel
• Basic understanding of Java and Flutter applications is a plus.
