Job summary

ISSPL Ltd in Hyderabad is seeking a Regional HSE Manager to lead world-class safety across project sites, proactively manage high risks, and drive contractor safety excellence. The role emphasizes stopping unsafe work and embedding strong safety culture with frontline leadership engagement.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and empower employees and contractors to stop unsafe work, spending significant time in field locations and coordinating with regional teams to improve incident learning

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Wind Energy, Renewable Energy, Power Sector, Utilities, Telecom, Heavy Engineering or Industrial Operations.
• Strong exposure to Work at Height, Heavy Lifting, Civil & Excavation, Electrical Safety, Contractor Safety and Incident Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Leadership Safety Walks with Regional leaders and Customer Representatives.
• Establish a strong proactive reporting culture for near misses, unsafe conditions, safety acts, and incidents.
• Promote Stop Work Authority (SWA) across all employees and contractor workforces.
• Lead and deploy the corporate HSE initiatives into the region-circle-site.
• Identify, monitor, and control all High-Risks associated with project activities.
• Conduct Critical Control Verification (CCV) audits at all sites.
• Spend minimum 50% of working time in field locations.
• Conduct regular safety conversations with leaders, engineers and contractor personnel.
• Lead investigation of all High Potential Near Misses and Serious Incidents.
• Facilitate sharing of lessons learned across project sites within defined timelines.
• Maintain regional incident-learning database.
• Conduct Safety Leadership Training for Regional Managers and Site In-Charges.

Role Purpose:-
