Job summary

SBI Payments in Mumbai seeks a skilled IT service desk professional to monitor fintech/payment applications, POS terminals, and related systems. You will diagnose alerts, escalate to infra or vendor teams, and manage incidents via ITSM tools while supporting merchant onboarding and transaction troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of POS, APIs, and transaction flows, plus experience with SQL/Oracle and incident-management platforms, is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with POS systems, payment terminals, APIs and transaction flow.
• Experience with RDBMS (SQL, Oracle) for basic query execution and log analysis.
• Understanding of incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, etc.).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment, including shifts or weekends if required.

• Maintain documentation for issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
