Job summary

VASU Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Executive PPIC & SCM to manage production and material planning, inventory control, and procurement coordination.

You will work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, QA/QC, Sales and Dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted production and optimized stock levels. The role requires expertise in PPIC, MRP, and SAP PP/MM with strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• B. Com, BBA, B.Sc., B. Pharm, MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) or equivalent.
• Certification in PPIC, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Operations Management will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Control and Procurement Coordination.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and schedules.
• Monitor plan vs. actual, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Warehouse, QA/QC, Sales and Dispatch teams.
• Maintain SAP/ERP data, run MIS, and prepare key reports on stock and capacity.

Purpose of the Role

To manage Production Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Control, Procurement Coordination, and Supply Chain activities to ensure uninterrupted production, optimum inventory levels, and timely availability of raw materials and finished goods. The role will work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Warehouse, QA, QC, Sales, and Dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Develop batch-wise production schedules and monitor execution.
• Track Production Plan vs. Actual and identify deviations.
• Coordinate with Production for timely completion of batches.
• Optimize schedules based on materials, manpower, and capacity.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
• Prepare material requirements based on BOM and production plans.
• Ensure timely availability of RM, PM, consumables, and production materials.
• Monitor lead times and pending material requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchase for critical material procurement.
• Identify shortages, excess inventory, and planning risks.
• Inventory Management
• Monitor RM, PM, WIP, and Finished Goods inventory.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and avoid stock-outs.
• Track slow-moving, non-moving, and ageing inventory.
• Support stock reconciliation and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Drive inventory and working capital optimization initiatives.
• Supply Chain Coordination
• Coordinate material flow from procurement to dispatch.
• Follow up on PRs, POs, vendor commitments, and deliveries.
• Liaise with Stores for material issuance and stock status.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Dispatch for order fulfilment.
• Ensure timely dispatch as per business requirements.
• Capacity Planning
• Analyse machine, manpower, and production capacities.
• Prepare Load vs. Capacity analysis.
• Identify resource constraints and support expansion planning.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Warehouse, QA, QC, Sales, Finance, and Dispatch.
• Coordinate quality release status with QA/QC.
• Participate in production and supply chain review meetings.
• SAP / ERP & MIS
• Maintain accurate PPIC and SCM data in SAP/ERP.
• Monitor MRP, production orders, inventory, and material status.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification

• B. Com, BBA, B.Sc., B. Pharm, MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) or equivalent.

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in PPIC, Production Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in Pharma, Ayurvedic, Cosmetics, FMCG, OTC, or Nutraceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in plant-level operations will be an advantage.
