Job summary

Sany Renewable Energy Co., Ltd in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced Site Manager for wind projects. You will oversee construction sites, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires English and Hindi language skills, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, and hands-on field experience with turbine-related contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wind Projects Execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical, Electrical and other related majors.
• Knowledge of Turbine Supply Agreement and Service Available Agreement.
• Good coordination and communication skills, clear verbal and written communication. Willing to do field visits and handle pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wind project sites to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Monitor and direct site team including subcontractors from start to finish.
• Accompany clients during site visits and address progress questions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Maintain site safety protocols with daily EHS support; ensure subcontractor work is safe.
• Contribute input into planning and development of the program.
• Complete site reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Site manager works on building and construction sites to ensure a project completes safely, on time, and within budget.
• 2. Monitor and direct site team incl. subcontractor activities from start to finish.
• 3. Accompany clients during site visits and answer questions or concerns about the project's progress.
• 4. Be budget-conscious and identify opportunities to save money by reducing wasteful practices or increasing efficiency.
• 5. Maintain site safety protocols with support from EHS specialist daily on their site visits and ensure subcontractors and crew work in a safe environment and minimize risk and resolve violations and potential hazards.
• 6. Provide input into the planning and development of the program.
• 7. Complete site reports and other paperwork on time and accurately.
• 8. Perform other responsibilities required by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• 1. Experience: Candidate should have experience in Wind Projects Execution
• 2. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical, Electrical and other related majors.
• 3. Knowledge: Should have the knowledge of both Turbine Supply Agreement and Service Available Agreement.
• 4. Ability & Skill: Good coordination and communication skills, clear verbal and written communication. Must be able to work independently and should be willing to do field visits. Should be Able to handle pressure situations.
• 5. Language: English, Hindi.
