Job summary

AVI-SPL Onsite Maintenance Technician will partner with customers and teams to provide on premises support at customer site(s), delivering world-class customer service.

Responsibilities include setup/breakdown of conference spaces, maintenance of cables and hardware, cleaning AV gear, and providing training as needed. Travel to various job sites is required while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years audiovisual integration experience preferred
• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment
• Ability to diagnose complex system problems

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance including testing/repairing cables and hardware components.
• Clean AV equipment including camera lenses, monitors and fans.
• Maintain job site documentation as needed.
• Provide timely support: meeting support, connectors installation, video/audio recording support.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams professionally.
• Provide client training as needed.
• Adhere to local safety standards for site duties.
• Setup, operate and troubleshoot audio/video systems.
• Travel to various job sites as required.

Job Summary

The AVI-SPL Onsite Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware components.
• Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans.
• Responsible for job site documentation as needed.
• Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing connectors, video/audio recording support.
• Work with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL.
• Provide client training as needed.
• Adhere to and understand local safety standards for all site duties.
• Setup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systems.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues.
• Detailed experience of Corporate AV installation
• Experience of the following platforms: Global Meet, Zoom, Cisco, Crestron, Evertz, Yamaha, Shure, Barco, LED Screens etc.
• Proven track record of delivering live events to a very high

• Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and contro.
• Valid Driver s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1-3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred
• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
