Capgemini is seeking a Robotics & Simulation Engineer to join our digital manufacturing team in Bangalore. You’ll bridge design and production using Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience to validate processes, design surfaces, and develop offline programming for robotic systems.

Candidate should have 3-6 years in Aerospace/Industrial Automation, hands-on with Delmia, CATIA V6, and 3DExperience, and a BE in mechanical engineering. Great communication and client-facing skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in Aerospace/Industrial domain, Airbus methodology exposure
• Hands-on with Delmia/3DExperience in robotics simulations
• Strong knowledge of CATIA GSD and surface design

Responsibilities

• Create Offline Robot Programming (OLP) in Delmia/3DExperience.
• Perform assembly evaluation and equipment simulations to identify bottlenecks.
• Design equipment and tooling integration within 3DExperience.
• Use CATIA GSD to create/modify complex surfaces for fixtures.
• Conduct kinematic studies and collision checks for Right First Time manufacturing.

Long Description

Your Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics & Simulation Engineer to join our digital manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and production by utilizing the Dassault Systemes 3DExperience platform to validate manufacturing processes, design complex surfaces, and develop offline programming for robotic systems.

Role Requirements

Robotic Simulation & OLP: Create Offline Robot Programming (OLP) within the Delmia/3DExperience environment to ensure seamless transition from simulation to the shop floor.

Process Simulation: Conduct assembly evaluation and equipment simulations to identify bottlenecks, reachability issues, or cycle time inefficiencies.

Mechanical Design: Perform equipment design and tooling integration within the 3DExperience ecosystem.

Advanced Surfacing: Utilize CATIA GSD (Generative Shape Design) to create, modify, and optimize complex surfaces for manufacturing components and fixtures.

Validation: Execute kinematic studies and collision detection to ensure ''Right First Time'' manufacturing.

Technical Requirements

• Primary Platform: 3DExperience / CATIA V6 (V5 experience considered)
• Robotics: Delmia Robot Simulation Apps (Robot Task Definition, OLP)
• Simulation: Equipment Simulation, Assembly Evaluation, Kinematics Design
• CATIA GSD: Generative Shape Design, Part Design

Your Profile

• 3-6 years of experience in Aerospace Industrial Domain with Airbus methodology
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in client-facing technical roles is a plus
