Job summary

Avantor in Thane, India, invites applications for an Officer - Quality Control to perform QC activities at AQAL and ensure cGMP/ISO compliance. The role requires proficiency in HPLC, GC, wet analysis, and documentation, with timely reporting to SAP for result recording.

You will train and supervise the operators in the department, monitor waste, support ISO implementation, and help maintain quality systems and records in line with GMP/ISO guidelines to drive batch quality and on-time release.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Quality, including cGMP, ISO and audits.
• Knowledge of QC in Fine Chemicals and pharmaceutical company; cGMP experience.
• Willingness to learn, Team Player & Good communication skills.
• Will train & supervise the working of all operators in the dept.; monitor waste generated during operation.

Responsibilities

• Timely analysis of under test samples and recording results.
• Coordination with tollar for quality related issues and clarification.
• Sampling and analysis for RM/Intermediate/Finished Goods.
• Ensure compliance with ATR.
• Assisting ISO implementation.
• Knowledge of calibration, standard preparation, standardization and relevant documentation.
• Handling knowledge of HPLC, GC and wet analysis.

The Opportunity:

Officer - Quality Control is responsible for performing Quality Control activities at AQAL.

What we are looking for:

• Give timely reports to SAP for result recording.
• Education: B. Sc. / M. Sc. (Chemistry)
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in Quality including cGMP, ISO and regulatory Audits
• Knowledge of Quality Control in Fine Chemicals and pharmaceutical company. Experience of cGMP
• Fill and update all documents.
• Zero accidents in the Quality operations.
• Achieving batch wise timelines, quantity and quality.
• Will train & supervise the working of all operators working in his dept. Will monitor the waste generated during operation.
• Will be member of the Emergency response team and will guide & train other team members in case of Emergency.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015, SAP, and other Quality system into department. Will maintain the analytical records / log sheets as per GMP & ISO guidelines
• Skills - Willingness to learn, Team Player & Good communication skills
