Job summary

Avantor seeks an Officer - Quality Control in Mumbai to perform QC activities at AQAL. The role involves timely result reporting, sample analysis, and maintaining GMP/ISO records.

You will work with cGMP-compliant processes in fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, train operators, and support ISO 9001:2015 and SAP quality systems. Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn are essential as you monitor batch timelines, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in emergency

Qualifications

• Education: BSc/MSc in Chemistry.
• 1–3 years of quality control experience with cGMP/ISO audits.
• Knowledge of QC in fine chemicals and pharmaceutical environments.

Responsibilities

• Timely analysis of under-test samples and reporting results.
• Coordinate with toller for quality related issues and clarification.
• Sampling and analysis for RM/Intermediate/Finished Goods.
• Ensure ATR compliance.
• Assist ISO implementation.
• Knowledge of calibration, standard preparation, standardization and related documentation.
• Handling knowledge of HPLC, GC and wet analysis.

The Opportunity:

Officer - Quality Control is responsible for performing Quality Control activities at AQAL.

What we are looking for:

• Give timely reports to SAP for result recording.
• Education: B. Sc. / M. Sc. (Chemistry)
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in Quality including cGMP, ISO and regulatory Audits
• Knowledge of Quality Control in Fine Chemicals and pharmaceutical company. Experience of cGMP
• Fill and update all documents.
• Zero accidents in the Quality operations.
• Achieving batch wise timelines, quantity and quality.
• Will train & supervise the working of all operators working in his dept. Will monitor the waste generated during operation.
• Will be member of the Emergency response team and will guide & train other team members in case of Emergency.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015, SAP, and other Quality system into department. Will maintain the analytical records / log sheets as per GMP & ISO guidelines
• Skills - Willingness to learn, Team Player & Good communication skills
