Job summary

Concepts Hygiene in Goa is seeking a production operations professional to execute manufacturing activities per batch records and ERP entries. You will weigh, charge, mix and heat while controlling critical process parameters and ensuring accurate changeovers and tank cleaning.

The role emphasizes GMP/SOP compliance, in-process quality checks, and documentation. You will support inventory, trials, and process improvements while maintaining safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in allocated production area following BMRs and enter LAB MOs in ERP.
• Weighing, charging, mixing and heating per SOPs and parameters.
• Monitor critical process parameters (temp, pH, viscosity, time).
• Ensure timely changeover and tank cleaning with proper records.
• Adhere to SOPs, GMP and safety guidelines; support QC sampling.
• Maintain batch records, logbooks and production documentation.
• Operate mixing and handling equipment; report breakdowns to maintenance.
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and EHS compliance.
• Plan raw material issuance, minimize losses and support trials.
• Assist in scale-up, new product trials and process improvements.

Job description

Production Operations: -

• Work in allocated production area doing manufacturing activities following batch manufacturing records (BMR) and entries of LAB MOs in ERP System.
• Responsible for correct weighing, charging, mixing, and heating operations following SOPs and process parameters.
• Control and monitor critical process parameters (temp, pH, viscosity, mixing time).
• Ensure timely changeover and tank cleaning activities in documented manner as per approved procedures and records.

Quality & Compliance: -

• Strict adherence to SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure in-process quality checks and coordinate with QC for sample testing.
• Identify, report, and assist in investigation of deviations, Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out- of-Trend (OOT), and non-conformances.
• Maintain batch records, logbooks, and production documentation accurately.

Equipment & Safety: -

• Efficiently operate and monitor chemical mixing, homogenizers and product handling machines to achieve quality and production numbers.
• Identify and report equipment breakdowns, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and safe handling of chemicals during all laboratory and production activities.

Inventory & Stock Coordination: -

• Plan and coordinate for raw material issuance and reconciliation with batch in shift.
• Minimize material loss, spillage, and wastage.
• Support production trials, scale-up, and validation batches.
• Assist in new product trials and process improvements.

Skills & Competencies: -

• Well versed with knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and production documentation.
• Understanding of surfactants, solvents, acids, alkalis, and preservatives.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
