Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA in Krishnapatnam, India, is looking for an Officer – Electrical to perform planned and unplanned maintenance on plant electrical systems, read wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.

You will work with 33kV transformers, MCC, PCC, LT DGs, and APFC panels, ensuring safe work practices, 5S, and root cause analysis. Diploma in Electrical with CEIG license and 4–6 years of hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical is required.
• Wireman license issued by CEIG is required.
• 4–6 years of field experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience with power distribution and transformers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned or unplanned maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Attend daily breakdowns and ensure zero breakdowns in shift.
• Follow preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Use predictive tools like vibration monitors and thermal cameras as needed.
• Ensure safety by following permits, LOTO, and reporting unsafe activity.
• Maintain daily power usage logs and manage power distribution from sources.
• Keep equipment installations clean and read wiring diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Maintain workplace hygiene and apply 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.

Role Purpose Statement

• To carry out planned or unplanned maintenance activity and repair activity on various electrical systems and equipment’s of the plant

Main Accountabilities

• Solving Problem. Attain daily breakdown related activities in their respective shift and assure zero breakdowns.
• Preventive. Electrician should follow preventive, predictive maintenance and ensure there is minimum breakdown of equipment, by following proactive actions.
• Should use predictive tools like LLF, Vibration monitors and Thermal camera, to ensure machine should not run till Fail mode.
• Should ensure safely completion work by following proper work permit, LOTO and communication with Shift in charge, and should immediately report unsafe activity to concern department and should actively participate in Safety activity.
• Daily maintain log sheet and should record daily power usage of plant.
• To avail power and manage power distribution from different power sources.
• To ensure all equipment’s installation should be kept cleaned.
• Should be able to read and understand manual and wiring diagram and should be able to troubleshoot through it.
• Should keep instrument and workplace hygiene and clean and should be able to imply work standards like 5S, kaizen and Root cause of frequent breakdown

• Knowledge about 33KV transformer handling, PCC, MCC, LDP, PDB, APFC panels etc. operations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• LT DG operation, maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Operation, Predictive and preventive maintenance of electrical & Instrumentation equipment’s.
• Knowledge earthing system and standards.
• Knowledge in department Electricity billing process and power balance.
• Knowledge on Lighting system.

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical
• Wireman license issued by any Chief Electrical Inspector of Government (CEIG)
• 4-6 Years of Experience
