Job summary

Zylog ElastoComp is seeking a maintenance engineer to plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, and coordinate with production to ensure continuous operations.

The role requires strong planning, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with focus on safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems
• Maintenance planning and scheduling
• Spare parts management and inventory basics
• Proficient in MS Office and maintenance documentation
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and downtime, identify improvement areas.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with production teams to avoid interruptions.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and reports for compliance.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and improvement projects.
• Uphold safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment efficiency
