Job summary

• Dispatch planning for FG: container scheduling, export dept instructions, order prep, ASN prep.
• Monitor and schedule daily/weekly/monthly production, material availability, and dispatched goods using JIT.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB (list not more than 10 items)

Production Planning and Control

• Responsible for planning the production & dispatch of FG as per the orders placed by customers & ensuring that the orders are delivered on time & fully executed.
• Creating & Maintaining production, & Shipment schedules & prioritize orders for production optimization.
• Capacity calculation, Planning & scheduling of Extrusion (for sheets), Vacuum forming (for shells), Pressure forming machines (for shells) & Assembly lines (in-house & subcontracting) on a monthly, Weekly & daily basis by proper execution of orders to optimise production & inventory.
• Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Dispatch plan activities for FG, like container scheduling with Customer & export department, Shipping instructions to dispatch dept., sales order preparation, ASN preparation, etc.
• Effective use of JIT system (monitor & schedule daily, weekly & monthly production quantity, Material availability, dispatched goods against order).

Inventory Control

• Ensure the inventory of Raw material & finished goods is controlled as per the norms.
• Control inventory cost by proper execution of orders.
• Control production to avoid excess production of Sheets, shells & Finished goods using the JIT system.
• Initiate liquidation of surplus goods.

MRP Forecasting & Planning

• Prepare month-wise order details & forecast with the help of sales figures for MRP & run MRP through the ERP system twice a month.

ERP LN

• Responsible for preparing production orders for manufacturing in the ERP system.
• Create Sales Orders in the LN ERP system.

Coordination with Internal and External Customers

• Coordinate with overseas customers for orders, dispatch schedules etc.
• Ensures orders are delivered on time, fully execute & customer satisfaction.
• Coordination with cross-functional departments like development, Purchase, import export, Production, toolroom, stores, BSR, quality & other related department for ensuring on time delivery.

MIS

• Maintain open order status of export & domestic orders.
• ISO reports
• Monthly reports
