Job summary

Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited in India requires a shift supervisor to oversee Production Officers, Operators, Technicians and contract workers. You will allocate manpower, enforce safe and GMP-compliant practices, and maintain discipline and teamwork on the shop floor.

You will ensure cGMP, GDP, ALCOA+ data integrity, and the company’s QMS are followed, verify BMRs and logs, and coordinate line clearance and handovers between batches for efficient production.

Job Description:

• Supervise Production Officers, Operators, Technicians, and Contract Workmen during the shift.

• Maintain discipline, productivity, and teamwork on the shop floor.
• Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Data Integrity (ALCOA+), and company Quality Management Systems.
• Verify completion of BMRs, logbooks, equipment records, and cleaning records.
• Ensure line clearance before batch commencement and after product changeover.
• Report deviations, incidents, and non-conformances to the reporting manager.
• Execute API manufacturing processes as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), SOPs, and process instructions.
• Supervise manufacturing activities including charging, reaction monitoring, filtration, centrifugation, drying, milling, blending, and material transfer.
• Ensure batches are completed within the planned cycle time while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor critical process parameters and take corrective actions for any deviations.
• Coordinate smooth shift operations and ensure proper shift handover.
