Job summary

TSIL is seeking an Officer in Manufacturing/Production to support the injection molding process, assist in machine setup, and drive process optimization. The role requires 1 year of experience and a technical diploma or degree, with CIPET PGDPT preferred.

You will work with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality, and achievement of production targets. Knowledge of molding parameters and lean practices is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist setup and operation of injection molding machines and tooling.
• Support process optimization to improve cycle time and reduce scrap.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of molds, machines, and robots.
• Monitor production performance and conduct root cause analysis of defects/downtime.
• Maintain process sheets, setup instructions, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with QA, tooling, and maintenance to meet specs.
• Participate in new mold trials and process validations.

Job Purpose

To support the injection molding process by assisting inmachine setup, process optimization, quality improvement, and troubleshooting.The Junior Injection Molding Engineer works closely with production, quality,and maintenance teams to ensure efficient manufacturing, minimize defects, andachieve production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup andoperation of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Support process optimization to improve cycle time, product quality, and reduce scrap rates.
• Perform regular maintenance andtroubleshooting of mold tools, machines, and robots.
• Monitor production performanceand conduct root cause analysis for defects or downtime.
• Maintain documentationincluding process sheets, setup instructions, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with quality andtooling teams to ensure products meet specifications.
• Participate in new mold trials,process validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and manufacturingprotocols.
