Job Description
Gaming Laboratories International is a world leader in testing gaming devices and online systems in the gaming, wagering and lottery industries. The role supports the administration team in a global market leader.
Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Responsible for normal reception duties including greeting visitors, preparing NDAs, maintaining records and issuing name badges and fobs for new hires.
- Organise fire drills, maintain fire maintenance records, ensure first‑aid training and supplies.
- Answer telephone, distribute post and e‑mail correspondence, provide general information and take messages as needed.
- Act as point of contact for third‑party contractors and arrange work within the buildings.
- Answer departmental questions and direct individuals to the appropriate party.
- Ensure office supplies are maintained, including stationery, cleaning supplies and food; place weekly coffee machine orders.
- Provide assistance with daily operations such as posting, organising courier services and obtaining printed materials.
- Assist with building operations: meter readings, liaise with suppliers, cleaning company, fire maintenance and water supplier; arrange PAT testing annually.
- Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all work performed.
- Handle confidential and non‑routine information professionally.
- Work independently and within a team on various projects.
- Assist with local and inter‑company travel arrangements.
- Coordinate meetings, including placing food orders and arranging set‑up and clean‑up.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Comfortable interacting with executives, clients and/or customers; strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency at working at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to read, listen, and speak on telephone for extended periods.
- Adequate hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and office equipment.
- Strong organisational and project‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
