Job summary

Holy Family Hospital in Delhi is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities. You will develop individualized treatment plans and implement programs to improve activities of daily living and independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients physical, cognitive, sensory and psychosocial abilities
• Identify functional limitations affecting daily activities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments
• Implement therapy programs to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide training in self-care, mobility and functional tasks
• Conduct hand therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration therapy
• Recommend and train patients in use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Facilitate return to work, school and community activities
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records, assessments, progress notes and discharge summaries
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
• Prepare therapy reports for interdisciplinary teams and insurance requirements
• Work closely with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists and nurses
• Participate in case conferences and rehabilitation planning
• Coordinate care to ensure comprehensive patient management
• Provide occupational therapy services across age groups as assigned
• Address developmental delays, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and mental health needs
