Role Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide full-time, on-site therapeutic services at Samvedna Centre for Rehab in Delhi, India. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing children’s developmental and functional abilities, designing individualized treatment plans, and delivering occupational therapy sessions focused on motor skills, sensory integration, activities of daily living, and school readiness. The role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members, including speech therapists, special educators, and medical professionals, as well as communicating progress and strategies to parents and caregivers. The Occupational Therapist will maintain accurate documentation, participate in case discussions, and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes for children with diverse neurological and developmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development, particularly in working with children with ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, SLD, and developmental delays.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing clear guidance to parents and caregivers.
• Understanding of basic Medicine and neurology relevant to pediatric rehabilitation settings.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; valid professional registration or license as required by local regulations.
• Prior experience in pediatric or neurodevelopmental rehabilitation settings is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work empathetically with children and families, with strong observational skills and clinical judgment.
