Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Bareilly. The Occupational Therapist will assess children's developmental, sensory, motor, and functional skills, and design individualized intervention plans to improve independence in daily activities. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based occupational therapy sessions, documenting progress, updating treatment goals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including speech therapists, psychologists, educators, and behavior therapists. The role involves counseling and guiding parents/caregivers on home programs, adaptive strategies, and environmental modifications to support carryover of therapy at home. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in case discussions, contribute to early intervention program development, and maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development, including early intervention approaches for diverse developmental needs.
• Understanding of basic Medicine concepts relevant to therapy, including contraindications, co-morbid conditions, and interdisciplinary care.
• Effective Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and counseling.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; valid professional registration/licensure as required.
• Experience in pediatric or early intervention settings is highly beneficial; prior work in home-based or community-based rehabilitation is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to diverse family contexts, and maintain cultural sensitivity and client-centered practice.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with commitment to continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
