Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Baner, Pune. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting occupational therapy services for children with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress toward achieving functional and measurable goals. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, educate caregivers and family members, and maintain accurate clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, implement, and document occupational therapy services for children with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.
• Conduct assessments and monitor progress toward achieving functional and measurable goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust them based on ongoing progress and needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate caregivers and family members on therapy goals, activities, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in India
• Demonstrated knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques, including physical, cognitive, and perceptual abilities, and developmental norms across the lifespan
• Experience working with individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs, including physical disabilities, mental illness, and developmental disorders
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address functional goals and activities of daily living
• Experience working in a team-based environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals
