Job summary

Solarium Green Energy Limited is seeking an O&M Engineer to manage operation, monitoring, and maintenance of solar power plants. You will troubleshoot, inspect sites, and ensure safety and performance targets are met.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in solar O&M, diploma or BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, and familiarity with SCADA systems. This is an on-site role requiring travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor solar plants to ensure maximum energy generation.

• Monitor plant performance via SCADA data and monitoring portals.

Job Summary

We are looking for an O&M Engineer to manage the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power plants to ensure optimal performance and maximum energy generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of solar power plants and ensure maximum energy generation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and preventive maintenance of solar panels, inverters, and other electrical equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical faults in solar PV systems.
• Monitor plant performance through SCADA systems, data loggers, and monitoring portals.
• Coordinate with site teams, technicians, vendors, and contractors for maintenance activities.
• Maintain records of energy generation, equipment performance, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance and minimize plant downtime.
• Support the implementation of measures to improve plant efficiency and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in solar power plant operations and maintenance will be preferred.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of SCADA, data loggers, and solar monitoring systems.
• Willingness to travel to solar project sites as required.
