Job summary

Apollo Hospitals in Mumbai is seeking a Nursing Officer to join our Nursing department. The role requires 1–5 years of nursing experience and registration with the State Nursing Council.

Work location is Mumbai with a Work From Office model, full-time employment. The successful candidate will assist in patient-care activities, monitor patients, manage documentation, and support infection control and safety initiatives while coordinating with the nursing and support teams to uphold our standards

Qualifications

• Nursing degree with B.Sc Nursing or GNM registration.
• 1–5 years of nursing experience.
• Registered with State Nursing Council.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with routine patient-care activities.
• Monitor and record patient observations as assigned.
• Support patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Assist in preparing patients for investigations and procedures.
• Support medication and treatment activities under supervision.
• Assist with patient transfers and movement.
• Maintain patient-care records and assigned documentation.
• Ensure availability of nursing supplies and consumables.
• Support infection-control and patient-safety activities.
• Assist with specimen collection and transportation.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and support services.
• Monitor patient needs and report concerns promptly.
• Assist during emergencies according to training.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient-care areas.
• Follow nursing procedures and hospital protocols.
• Participate in team communication and shift handovers.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Promote compassionate and patient-centered care.
