Job summary

Paras Health in Gurugram is seeking a nurse educator to plan, develop, and implement training programs for nursing staff.

You will conduct induction programs, identify training needs, and coordinate with hospital departments to meet competency requirements.

The role involves ongoing teaching, calendars, SOPs, and assessments to enhance patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing education and clinical training.
• Experience with audits and quality improvement.
• Hospital multispecialty exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement nursing education and training programs for nursing staff.
• Conduct induction and orientation programs for new nursing employees.
• Identify training needs based on competency gaps, clinical audits, incidents, and departmental requirements.
• Conduct regular clinical teaching, skill demonstrations, workshops, and competency assessments.
• Develop and maintain training calendars, educational materials, SOPs, checklists, and competency assessment tools.
• Conduct BLS, ACLS, infection control, medication safety, patient safety, and other clinical training as applicable.
• Coordinate with Nursing HODs, In-charges, Infection Control, Quality, and other clinical departments for training requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, audits, and feedback.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
