Narayana Health, Delhi, invites applications for a nursing education and quality role to strengthen training, infection control and patient safety.

You will coordinate staff education, maintain training matrices, oversee in service programs (ACLS, BLS, PALS, CNEs) and ensure documentation as per guidelines.

Required: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s in nursing with valid State Nursing Council registration; commitment to ongoing professional development.

General Responsibility

• Adhere and comply with Organization Regulations and Administrative Policies.
• Adhere and comply with policies and procedures related to patient care, infection control, patient safety and accreditation standard.

Training and Education

• Identify the training needs of staff and formulate a training plan in consultation with the NS & DNS.
• Create an environment that fosters professional growth by teaching learning activities.
• Participate and contribute in scheduled in service training programs like ACLS, BLS,PALS,NALS(If applicable), CNEs, conferences etc,
• Ensure that individual training hours, training outcomes are recorded appropriately as per the prescribed guidelines.
• Coordinate with the stakeholders in arranging classes & clinical teaching activities for the newly joined and existing staff in the department.
• Maintain a training matrix and periodically review the same for further improvement.
• Assure appropriate education and continuing professional development of the unit staff.
• Facilitate staff participation in all relevant educational program,
• Upgrade knowledge as per current clinical evidences and guidelines and participate in In-service training programs like ACLS, BLS, CNEs, conferences etc,

Quality Management

• Comply with all quality standard as decided by organization for patient safety and quality of care.
• Follow international patient safety goals.
• Report all near miss, sentinel events and any other incidents.
• Maintain patients privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.

Other Responsibilities

• In addition to the above, be proactive in taking up any additional responsibility, be it clinical or non-clinical on a need basis as and when such situation arises.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in nursing.

Registration: Valid registration in the State Nursing Council from where B.Sc. Nursing / GNM was completed.
