The Sr. Technical Specialist is responsible for managing IT company strategies, including incident, problem, and change management within complex network environments. The role involves leading technical decision‑making for critical incidents, ensuring minimal provider downtime, and overseeing upgrades to prevent future issues. The specialist configures, deploys, and optimizes network infrastructure, manages routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, and works with cross–functional teams to maintain high carrier uptime and overall system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT company strategies, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Lead technical resolutions for critical P1 incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Identify and address deficiencies to improve network reliability.
• Execute network configurations, deployments, and optimizations in complex environments.
• Oversee project governance, scope, budgeting, and risk management.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline manual tasks.
• Troubleshoot enterprise network devices, firewalls, and load balancers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, DNS, VRRP, ARP, etc.).
• Proficiency in Nokia hardware (7X50/77XX/7210) and network services (VPLS, VLL, VPRN, SDPs).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex network issues.
• Experience in project governance, cost planning, reporting, and risk management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
