Job summary

Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited is seeking a skilled Node.js back-end engineer to design and develop scalable server-side applications across enterprise SaaS and e-commerce platforms in India. You will build RESTful and GraphQL APIs, integrate relational and NoSQL databases, and implement secure authentication with JWT.

You will collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams, work on CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to observability with Prometheus and Grafana while following secure coding

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js for scalable back-end services.
• Experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs with SLA adherence.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Jenkins) and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize server-side Node.js applications focusing on scalability and fault tolerance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize server-side Node.js applications with a focus on scalability, latency, and fault tolerance.
• Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs that serve web, mobile, and third-party integrations with strict SLA adherence.
• Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching layers (Redis) for high-throughput data access.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins, ensuring zero-downtime deployments and automated testing.
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to troubleshoot production issues and enhance system observability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Follow secure coding practices, implement JWT/OAuth2 authentication, and enforce rate limiting and input sanitization for all APIs.
