Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Developer in Pune to design, develop, and support scalable backend applications and APIs. You will work with Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, building enterprise-grade solutions and serverless architectures.

You will collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, DevOps, and developers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable systems, while mentoring juniors and driving technical excellence across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 9–11 years of software backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building enterprise-grade APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with serverless and cloud-native architectures.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration services.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and serverless architectures.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 9?11 years of experience in software development and backend application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Experience building serverless and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server database development and administration.
• Strong SQL programming, query optimization, and database performance tuning skills.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing models.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting business-critical applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Experience working with source control and collaborative development workflows.
• Exposure to Magic XPA or low-code/no-code application platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional delivery environments.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives from design through production deployment.
